How to beat monk doppelganger in hard mode in under 15s?
Maybe under 10s, did not measure time hehe.
So i killed him on second try. Could have killed him first time but made one fatal mistake. This is how it goes:
I used Brohn staff. Any would do with plus 60 hp. I had total 535 hp.
Attributes
Healing 16
Blood 12 (i had 11)
Take only 2 skills:
Spoil Victor (elite)
Healing breeze
Just cast Spoil victor on him and keep Healing breeze on yourself all the time. He will kill himself while he is attacking. Don' attack him couse he casts Spoil victor on your monk. That is why i lost first time. Wanted to finish him with staff but killed myself instead.
I hade enough health at the end (and of course less then he) that he killed himself before me.

Ah yes, I see why he uses HB not much, if you place on 8th place. However, I think I'll try Mirko's way, seems a lot more fun, as you don't need to do a thing .

I 55'd him with SV -- he dropped in less than 15secs...
Though if you don't have 55 gear you can always follow Necro line using sac skills with SV or SS, or Mesmer line using Illusion of Weakness, Empathy, Backfire, Distortion....
Same principal holds, your dopple isn't that smart.

Or you could try doing it with monk skills if you got balls.
I believe I did it with:
Reversal of Damage
Shield of Judgement
Retribution (probably optional)
Spirit Bond
Blessed Aura (probably optional)
Glyph of Lesser Energy (probably optional, but you'll want it if you have two bonds)
This works as long as you don't have +10al vs. phys armor or +10al(enchanted) armor, but most people have survivor armor so good for you if you do. Or if you have an armor swap still, that's also good. For some reason with the 70al vs. phys, the HM dopple hits for exactly 59 damage on autoattacks preventing SB from triggering, which is damn annoying, however with 60al, he autoattacks for 65 or 70 damage (I forget exactly which) which triggers a bigger heal on SB then he damages you for. Spec into smiting prayers so that Reversal of Damage hits the doppleganger for just under the SB threshold (I think it's like 10 or 11 smiting prayers). As long as you don't attack him, he will damage himself by hitting you without benefitting from SB, whereas you will be healed by his attacks. Blessed aura speeds things up a little by keeping SB and SoJ up longer, but I don't think it's needed, and without the bond, glyph probably isn't needed either, but that's how I did it.
So take some pride in your monk and kill the dopple using primary skills.

If you can get those two skills, just spam them on yourself and he kills himself. Easy win.
